Welcome to the Beal Memorial Website
On September 28th, 2014, joyful Celebration took place that honored Philip E. Beal (1935-2009,) a passionate Jesus follower, and peace with justice advocate for our neighborhoods.
More the 40 churches and organizations and many individual planned, promoted, brought cookies and coffee, did the media and the website, wrote and gave stories, set and cleaned up, and contributed and participated, this event in multiple ways. At genuine THANK YOU the extend to everyone in whatever role you played. Each person and group was significant in amazing Celebration that took place.
There were people of ALL ages with broad spectrum of racial and religious backgrounds. We heard stories about restoration, reconciliation, answered prayer, redemption, forgiveness, love, hope, grace, peace with justice and caring for each other in Jesus name. It was glorious!
It was relational, not informational… no money, no denominations, no signing names, no brochures, no labels, no issues. It is time for our neighborhood to celebrate the stories of people that “walk in footsteps of Jesus.”
